PRIVACY PROTECTION POLICY

In accordance with and pursuant to C.G.S. § 42-471, it is the policy of Ford of Northampton, Inc. to protect the privacy of personal information ("PI") that we possess. Specifically, it is our policy to:

1.   Safeguard data, computer files and documents containing PI from any misuse by third parties;
2.   Destroy, erase or make unreadable any data, computer files and documents containing PI prior to their disposal;
3.   Protect the confidentiality of an individual's Social Security number and other PI;
4.   Prohibit the unlawful disclosure of an individual's Social Security number and other PI;
5.   Limit and/or restrict the access to an individual's Social Security number and other PI by third parties; and
6.   Limit employees' access of an individual's Social Security number and other PI by (i) restricting and/or limiting access to only those authorized employees who need to access such PI in order to allow us to provide services to our customers or otherwise operate our business; and (ii) imposing restrictions and reasonable safeguards on our employees to prevent them from accessing customers' PI without authorization.

In the event that there is ever a breach of security regarding PI, it is our policy to comply with applicable state and federal law requirements regarding the notification and disclosure to our customers and to the appropriate authorities of the circumstances of the breach.

For the purposes of this Policy, "Personal information" means information capable of being associated with a particular individual through one or more identifiers, including, but not limited to, a Social Security number, a driver's license number, a state or Tribal identification card number, an account number, a credit or debit card number, a passport number, an alien registration number, and an email address along with a password or other access code.
